Here are some highlights of things that happened around our community in January:

News:

• The January Connect-a-Thon was our most productive ever! Check out the highlights. Almost 100,000 profiles were added!
• We identified "WikiTree Weevils."
• We now have 32 million profiles connected on our tree.
• We now have 37 million profiles overall!
• We introduced the new Pre-1700 Self-Certification process.
• Check out the Secret Santa wrap-up and highlights.

Member highlights:

• Pam Fraley, Ben Couch, Laura Ward, and Michael Black, were interviewed and featured as Members of the Week.
• Patty LaPlante was our most-thanked member of the month.
• Kathy Nava, George Fulton and Beryl Meehan each received a Superstar!
• Thirteen members received Community Stars, 39 received Family Stars, and 42 received Generous Genealogist badges (here, here and here).
