Oh wow, thanks for the notice Danielle, not a word on local news outta Nashville here.  I've always loved that song of hers, Brand new key. Growing up they played it at the roller rinks, my friends and I would dance skate to it.  Every time I think of the song, it still makes me smile soo many decades later.

Sad news. She wasn't that old.

I see all the Stones, Aerosmith, and most of the rest are in their 80s or nearly so.

How time flies.  I remember trading Paul McCartney's solo album with a friend, for Melanie's album featuring Beautiful People.  What a strange world it was in comparison to today. You like a song, trade records.  Melanie was very gifted.
