The FindaGrave link provided doesn't have an image so would not be used as a source for a pre-1700 profile. In general, we usually don't use Wikipedia as a source and try to find the records Wikipedia might have used. Neither of those sources has a birth date associated with it. At some point someone will work on this profile as part of the Scotland Project. The source Wikipedia used is a book which would need to be looked at to determine where the information came from. The Scotland Project is always looking for good researchers, so consider joining the Project.
