I bought BMD certificates having mislaid them can I still cite them?

Some certficates can be found on other sites but some cannot.  If I have recorded having these certificates elsewhere can I use them on Wikitree?

I'm concerned that you say sources must be supplied and although I know I've had them, seen them, and recorded them I cannnot find them anywhere! I haven't needed them since before I moved house!

You should be able to cite them.  I cited my mother's birth certificate as being in my possession, as she was born in a year that was then behind the privacy cutoff for public records.

Thanks very much! I was hoping that was okay.
