Who can adopt an important orphaned profile from European Aristocracy? [closed]

I don't have pre-1500 clearance to adopt this. Brienne-4

John of Brienne (c. 1170 – 19–23 March 1237) He was King of Jerusalem and Latin Emperor of Constantinople. Pretty important figure. Probably should be in a special project of some sort under special oversight. Also, his wife and their ancestors are orphaned profiles.

Also, I wish I could figure out how to get clearance to work on pre-1500's profiles. What is the process?

Thanks for asking about management of this profile. I am a co-Leader of the Medieval Project which would be the Project that would adopt it if Project management were needed, but I do not myself see a need for it: there is, as far as I am aware, no great controversy about the family of Jean de Brienne, so there is no need for Project protection, and the restrictions on who can edit pre-1500 profiles provide adequate safeguards. In order to keep the number of profiles it manages to a reasonable level, the Project has a very tight policy on what profiles it adopts.

When someone has time, like a huge number of other profiles of medievals, including many prominent ones, this profile could do with improvement by someone with pre-1500 certification. I have, I am afraid, no idea when a WikiTree member will volunteer to get round to this.

Hi Briana

Longer term please become pre-1500 qualified! But in the meantime, any tasks you think should be work on can be explained either here on G2G or in comment boxes.

(Don't forget that in pre-1500 the management of profiles works quite differently to more recently deceased people. In some ways the profile managers are far less important there because such profiles can't be seen as belonging to any person or small number of people. But on the other hand if you post on G2G with "medieval" a large number of people will be ready to help, I think.)
