Can you help me find the parents of Mary Ann Smith Leedy, born in Huntingdon, PA in 1828?

Mary Ann Smith Leedy is my 2nd great grandmother. She was born on 10 Dec. 1828, and married John A. Leedy on 26 Mar 1848 in Elkhart, Indiana. Her marriage is the earliest record I have found for her. I've searched on Ancestry and Family Search, for years, as well as Newspapers.com and Newspaper Archives, but have been unable to find her parents. According to census records, she was born in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, and her parents were from Prussia. (The published Leedy Family History book by Gordon M. Connelly does not give her parents.) I would really appreciate any help or tips that will help me break through this brick wall!

Here is an article about her daughter: This has some obvious typos because it was created automatically with an optical scan.  You can see this on archive.org by text search for "mary ann leedy"

Thank you for that information, Tom. I will add it to Jennie's profile in my family tree. I have her husband's obituary but did not have this.

I will poke around in the archive.org site, for Mary Ann Smith, as that is one place I haven't looked. I have the basic details on all of her children, but so far, none give any clues as to who Mary Ann's parents were.
