Can you Sign the Petition to prevent original wills from being destroyed after 25 years

Question

The UK Government Ministry of Justice is consulting on digitising and then throwing away about 100m paper originals of the last wills and testaments of British people dating back more than 150 years in an effort to save £4.5m a year. 

If enough UK citizens sign the petition, it might be possible to stop this. See:

As a genealogist and former title insurance attorney, I am opposed to destroying any document containing original signatures. One never knows when one might need to examine an original document for any number of reasons.

I am not a UK citizen, but I have many ancestors from the UK. I object to discarding or destroying any wills of my ancestors or their spouses. If the Ministry of Justice wants to get rid of any of those wills, I will gladly take them and store them in my archive. Each will be scanned in and posted on the appropriate profile.
