This Joan could not have been the wife of John Botelerif they married ca 1335 when Joan's own father was only 17 (born in 1318, under a year old when father died, married while still underage, about 1332). Argentine-17 has been conflated with her father's half-sister and needs to be separated. John's brother William married Joan's sister Elizabeth before ca 1328. Should I go ahead and make a profile for the earlier Joan and separate this one from John? And merge John with Boteler-69, whose brother William is showing as married to Joan's sister Elizabeth:?

Joan wife of John Boteler (see text for John A. +1382) was his half sister, not his daughter. His daughter Joan married Bart. Naunton, and his half-sister married John Boteler. The two Joans seem to have become conflated here. See also Pedigrees from the Plea Rolls in which John Dargentein (plaintiff) in 12 E. III, names his parents as John and Agnes (de Berford) and his sister as Joan, daughter of John Dargentein and Roger Bryan and wife of John, son of Ralph le Botiller.
