I thought that those in the know might shed some light how these families are not connected better. Seems there is a genealogical block around connecting President George Washington to the Prudence Harrelson line. Many pointers indicate that Prudence Harrelson is the legitimate daughter of Patience Lewis. yet with all I see, Prudence is legitimate regardless. This would tie at least four families together making a powerful coalition in America and the South. Question-Why is there such a roadblock resistance to not make this lady legitimate in these lines as a connector?

Isabella (Lewis) Clayton born about 18 Dec 1707, Warner Hall, Gloucester, Virginia, British Colonial America died 05 Nov. 1742, Abingdon, Gloucester, Virginia, British Colonial America. Isabella is my 11th cousin 9 times removed. Elizabeth (Segrave) Mowbray (1338-bef.1368) is Isabella’s 10th great grandmother. Elizabeth is my 19th great grandmother. Jimmy Lewis
