Request for sourcing syntax help

Hello.

Please examine the source citations syntax at Busby-2050 and tell me why the sources are not displayed.

I have examined the code, repeatedly, and, I cannot find the error(s).

I am not asking for someone to correct the code- I am asking someone to tell me the error(s) that I cannot find, so that, in addition to correcting the code., I can learn from this.

Thank you in anticipation.

There is an unsaved draft so no one but you can see the edit version of the profile.  The most common reasons for citations not displaying are that one of the <ref> or </ref> codes is missing from a citation or that the

==Sources==

<references/>

lines are missing or have a typo.
I have closed the Edit tab, or, gone backward from it, so, the source code should now be viewable.

I had checked repeatedly, for unmatched <ref> and </ref> tags.
You have double quotations around your ref tag name, and it should be a single quotation mark. Example <ref name='FAG'/>
Ah, no, I believe that you are wrong in the issue of the single quotes or double quotes.

For sources to show properly

<references/>

Must be directly under

==Sources==

it is missing on this profile.  “Sources” makes the heading show, <references/>  makes the actual citations show.

Thank you.

That solved the problem.

I assume that I previously inadvertently marked and deleted the tag, when removing an underlying asterisk, after cutting and pasting source references into the Biography area <ref>...</ref> statements. Sometimes, marking text with a mouse, gets additional text that is not wanted to be marked, also marked, and subsequently cut or deleted.

Problem is now solved, and, I need to be even more careful, when marking text with a mouse.
