Is 2024 your year to join the England Project?

Question

 

The England Project is a fun and collaborative Project team to be involved in. We have several hundred active members creating and improving English Profiles. We have a strong sense of community, and our teams are organised to enable members to work in their areas of interest to help make every English Profile the best it can be.

Your journey with us will begin by completing our Orphan Trail which takes about 4-6 weeks. You will be teamed up with a Trailblazer, a WikiTree Trail Guide, to work with one-on-one. The Orphan Trail helps you learn how to work with our English Profile Standards and where to discover English sources. You’ll find it invaluable when working on your own English ancestors!

During the OT, we get to learn more about you and what your interests are – and you get to learn more about the Project and our members. Once you have finished the Orphan Trail you will join one of our teams beyond the Trail and make connections with members who share your own interests.

Hello,

I might be interested in joining the England Project.  I have a number of ancestors whose roots connect me to England.  More ancestor connections than I originally knew to England.  A number came from England early on and I am a member of Colonial Dames of 17th Century.  

I am also looking into the American Revolution Project as a number of my ancestors are considered Patriots and I am a member of DAR.

Please let me know your thoughts.  Thank you.

I am interested in the England Project. My research experience has been limited to the US although several years ago I did some indexing for Ancestry of English documents. I am interested in the differences and how to move my own research abilities into a new area.

Hiya, I would like to join the England project.  I have several groups I am looking for (some found, some not) in England. I am a bit stuck on the Methodists in Suffolk and Norfolk.  I have found a cousin there via DNA.  However, we are having difficulty finding our common ancestor.  The Methodist - non-conformist records are a bit of a challenge.

Greetings, I would like to join the England project and work on my relatives dated 1400, 1500, 1600 and 1700. I am a member of the Howard, Woodville, Boleyn, FitzAlan, Arundel, Neville, Grey, Spencer, Barber families amongst others. I find all of this to be most interesting.
