Change proposal for One Name Studies sticker.

This is a proposal to enhance the One Name Study sticker.

First, some background.  I want to use the One Name Study of the Parker surname to assist with everyone's research.  Parker is a common surname with not less than hundreds of thousands of potential profiles so organization is key.  It is also key that profiles in that category clearly identify how they relate to the study when viewing profiles so their researches don't need to click through to figure out the organization.

The badge uses "category" to organize the profiles.  For Parkers the specific category is the Y-DNA family group.  Ideally this would be displayable on the badge in each profile, but I presume that there is no way to use "category" directly to do that.

I'd like to ask that the one name study sticker allow optional display text to convey the category.  My specific use case proposal is a tag like "ydna" that gives the name of the Y-DNA subgroup within the surname.  I would anticipate that Y-DNA would be a very popular and useful component of a study and display of this text on the sticker would provide instantly recognizable purpose to the study.

If "ydna" is too specific, then an abstraction of this tag would be "subgroup" or "title".  Examples:

{{One Name Study| name = Parker| category = Family Group 5, Parker Name Study| ydna = Family Group #5}}

or

{{One Name Study| name = Parker| category = Family Group 5, Parker Name Study| subgroup = Monmouth, New Jersey}}

or

{{One Name Study| name = Parker| category = Family Group 5, Parker Name Study| title = DNA Confirmed}}

Large study groups like Smith and Parker become meaningless unless the profiles they contain can be organized and their profile viewers can easily identify their relationship to the study group.

I see prior users of the Parker One Name Study have attempted to use location such as county name to bring organization so this need is not a new thing.

Your sticker can be whatever you want it to be as far as I know. Azure created a YouTube video using my Macklem ONS to show how to change the sticker to any image you want.

He's not talking about the image.  He's talking about the text on the sticker.
It’s very easy to add or change text to a sticker.  I just recently changed the text of the sticker on one of my revolutionary soldier ancestors.  I included the name of the regiment that he was in.
Some stickers allow for the addition of text.  The ONS sticker does not.
Thanks for that info!  I was not aware of that.
