Can't change death

I added this person a while ago as private person. I now want to add their death.

When I add their death and save, it won't let me save.

1. This person is deceased so their birth date should not be "blank for extra privacy".

Did you read the error message, which tells you exactly what is wrong?

you have to put the radio button under the death date from "blank for extra privacy" to "exact/certain" (since I presume that you know the exact date of death).
