I'm having a hard time with the father of William Norris. I can't find proof of paternity and a distant relative said it was Pleasant John Norris born around 1827 supposedly in Pennsylvania. He married Emily Smith/Stine/Showman in Iron County Missouri in 1857. The 1860 record shows them living in Blackriver, Wayne County, Missouri. That's about all I have. I'll put the 1860 can. below:
