Who were his parents?

I am looking for the parents of Noah Smith, born 19 Mar 1809 in Haddam, Middlesex, Connecticut;  died 18 Jun 1838 at age 29 in At Sea.  I can't find his parents on FamilySearch.org.  I am hoping that someone can check AmericanAncestors.org or some other website for his parents.  We know his YDNA from his son's family line.

Haven't found his parents but did find this excellent piece on him and his wife when the Pulsaki exploded. Not sure if you have seen this.
