Found a John Evans of Sittingbourne Parish , Jan. 29,1683 - Aug. 20,1684. Sons John and William; father-in -law William Veale; brother Martin Johnson; godchild Margaret Ward daughter of Bryant Ward: wife Elizabeth exec. witt: Richaed West . Thomas Johnson, William Heather.

Could someone tell me if they are connected anywhere on here ? I ran the name came up with nothing.

Hi Teresa. Could you please check those dates? If he really lived from 29 January 1683 to 20 August 1684, sons seem unlikely.

What is your source? There is only one John Evans profile on WikiTree born in 1683, and he was Welsh.

Those dates were when his will was made and when it was probated. This Sittingbourne Parish is Old Rappahannock Essex County,Virginia.
