I am descended from Separatist deacons and pastors.  The simple answer is - No, they did not celebrate Advent as it can't be found in the Geneva Bible. That is why they did not celebrate Christmas or any other Christian church traditions that were established by the church long after the Bible was written.

Understood. I descend from the Leiden separatists and am an ordained clergyman in the UCC and since the UCC's parent denomination was the Congregational Church  I would be a "sepAratist" I guess. I think my ancestors would not be comfortable seeng me in a pulpit wearing vestments.wink
