Version 2 Upgrade to Australian Volunteer Defence Corps (WWII) Categories

Question

Following collaboration with the Military and War Project, the World War II Sticker has been modified, with the addition of Volunteer Defence Corps as a branch for Australia.

As a result of this addition to the sticker:

• All Volunteer Defence Corps categories (WWII) will now be in the standard M&W format: [[Category: <unit>, <branch>, <conflict>]]

• All Volunteer Defence Corps categories have been sent to be renamed in that format, including those already renamed in the previous upgrade. 

• The WWII sticker can be used on profiles of VDC servicemen by using the parameters branch=Volunteer Defence Corps and unit=2nd Battalion (NSW) (as an example)

• New examples (using VDC) of both the WWII and Veteran Recognition stickers have been added to the Australia Project page of examples of M&W Stickers.

You may see changes to a category on your profiles as Editbot completes the renaming requests we have instigated, and moves the profiles to the new categories. If you have any questions about the new category on your profiles, the sticker usage, or any of the VDC categories, please post below.
