there are a few ways,

1. use the Wikitree Bee Browser Extension (and turn the option on)https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:WikiTree_BEE#FamilySearch_search_links

2. use the manual tool https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:EditFamilySearch

3. use the FamilySearch Matches app https://apps.wikitree.com/apps/york1423/fs-match/

Jon, Thank you for your recommendations. The function I was looking for is the 2nd one you listed, the manual tool. I find this very easy and clean to use. Thank you

You can also use the WikiTree Sourcer browser extension. When on a FamilySearch profile page (details or sources tab) there is a menu option on the Sourcer popup called "Build FamilySearch Template". This puts a template in the clipboard. e.g.:

{{FamilySearch|2WNL-896}}

You can then paste this anywhere in your WikiTree profile. e.g. in Research Notes or in a "See also:" in the Sources section.

There is also an option in Sourcer to search from a WikiTree Profile (or any supported record) for a person on FamilySearch. This menu item is "Search FamilySearch -> Search Family Tree". For your example profile it finds the correct FS person first in the search results.

If you want to update more information in the WikiTree Profile from the FamilySearch profile there is also a way to do that in Sourcer. On the FS profile do "Save Person Data" and then on the WikiTree profile do "Merge/Edit from External Data". There are various Sourcer options that affect how much this does. I just improved this function in version 1.12.1 to do better merging of the bio text. One of the options is to add the FS template under "See also:" in the sources section.
