Three Mary Bryans [closed]

Question

There were three people called Mary Bryan christened within close proximity of each other in Derbyshire in 1781/2:

1. Mary daughter of James and Helen Bryan in Sutton on the Hill 12 August 1781

2. Mary daughter of Joshua and Alice Bryan in Radbourne 30 September 1781

3. Mary daughter of Joseph and Ann Bryan in Sutton on the Hill 23 May 1782

There are also three marriages of Mary Bryan:

A. Mary Bryan married Nehemiah Walkeden in Duffield 29 December 1800

B. Mary Bryan married George Bromley in Marston on Dove 27 October 1806

C.Mary Bryan married James Blood in Marston on Dove 14 November 1808

According to the censuses Mary wife of Nehemiah Walkeden was born in Radbourne in 1781, so (A) is (2).

Mary Bromley was named in the will of her father James Bryan in 1825, so (B) is (1).

By elimination, Mary wife of James Blood (C) must have been the daughter of Joseph and Ann Bryan (3).

She is currently attached on WikiTree as daughter of Joshua and Alice. I propose to detach her from those parents.

Do you know if Joseph was also a son of James abt 1716?

Or perhaps a cousin to James and Joshua?

As Sutton on the Hill and Radbourne are only 4.5 miles apart it is likely that they are all part of the same family group.

Thank you! It looks a possibility, but I can't find a Joseph son of James. There is a Joseph son of Joshua in the right time frame, but that's Alfreton - possibly extended family, but no evidence that he's the right one.

UPDATE: Yes, he was another brother. Joseph son of James and Ann of Thurvaston christened in Sutton 27 Dec 1756. So all three Marys were first cousins.

Who was the Mary the 3 girls were named after?

Mother of James? Mother of Ann?

Or even maybe a sister of the 3 brothers who died young?
