June: New member introducing myself

Hello. My grandmother is of the surname June/Juin. She was born into a small line of Huguenot family in New York, but were originally settled in Connecticut. They traveled the Hudson River and settled in a valley known as Doodletown, and was also called Mountville. This land, through eminent domain, was absorbed through the mid 1900’s and entirely by the mid 60’s leaving behind two cemeteries to trace ancestry. My goal is to preserve what has been left behind and historically acknowledge my refugee lineage as well as American war history.
