Passenger/Immigration List Index by Filby Look-Up Request

Can anyone kindly help with a passenger list/immigration look-up from the 1985 edition of Filby? There is a Jean Alle (or Allee) who arrived in New York (State) in 1725 (there are several Jean Alles listed in the alphabetical index).  Can anyone tell me what his original source was, there is a # and page # near his name which corresponds to the sources listed at the front of the book. He was supposed to be age 33 on arrival in 1725 in NY.  He was a Huguenot said to have been born on an "island off France". I am trying to find his departure place, ship name, and any other information available.  Thank you for your possible help.

Hi Walter.

I find this as a source of the arrival: BOYER, CARL, 3RD, editor Ship Passenger Lists, New York and New Jersey (1600-1825). Newhall, CA: the editor, 1978. 333p. 4th pr. 1986. Reprint. Family Line Publications, Westminster, MD, 1992.  You can borrow an older edition of this here (just need to join to borrow).

SEACORD, MORGAN HORTON. Biographical Sketches and Index of the Huguenot Settlers of New Rochelle, 1687-1776. New Rochelle, NY: The Huguenot and Historical Association of New Rochelle, 1941. 54p.

I'm not sure why the latter one is indexed. If I have found the right publication at Ancestry, there is nothing on page 54 about this person.

Hope this at least furthers your research.

I see the latter did not mean page 54 for the info, just that it is 54 pages in length. There is an Allee on page 4. I'm not finding an actual digital copy of the publication. You might see if a WorldCat library member has a digital copy.
Thank you! I’ve searched for this there before but didn’t locate it previously.
