Looking for DAR ancestor Philip Jones from Virginia

I'm trying to find the parents of my ancestor Philip Jones from VA who was according to his affadavit, at the battles of Cowpens and then at the Siege of Yorktown because he took his brother, Gabriel's place as he was ill. The Patriot from VA, Gabriel Jones, who I'm finding, does not mention a brother, Philip. Philip Jones (wife, Elizabeth) later moved to Logan County, KY and moved to Johnson Co., in northern AR in the mid 1830's where he is buried at Knoxville Bend Cemetery with a plaque by the DAR at his grave for his service in the Revolutionary War.

Have you contacted the DAR and requested the names of his parents?  If you are familiar with their applications, there is a place on the last page for their names and those of siblings and children.  They may be able to help you with this.

I have no idea how to contact the DAR and this is for WT member Vicki Turner who left the message as a comment on a Jones profile I manage (and who is my ancestor).  [[Turner-48516]] .  

I will forward any reply with how a non-DAR member can contact them to Vicki.  Thank you for any help.  Her Philip Jones is  NOT related to my Gabriel Jones so far as I can tell.

The DAR has recognized a Philip Jones who is listed as being born ca 1762 Amelia County, Virginia and died in Johnson County Arkansas post 1840 and was married to Elizabeth.  This Philip Jones DAR Ancestor No. A062534

I am finding a Philip in Ancestry with a lot of matching information you have given, Wife Elizabeth, brother Gabriel. The only difference I see right off is DAR record says Private and they have him listed as a LT. If's worth looking at. The death place is listed as KY but there is a land patent for Arkansas. His DAR number is A062534

Parents are listed as Aaron Jones (also a Rev war patriot) 1737-1843

Charity Alston Jones 1743-1834 

There is a lot of documentation to go through there
