New member introducing myself

Hi, I am relatively new to WikiTree and still trying to work out how to use it. I have uploaded my DNA and family tree. I'm currently trying to work backwards using DNA to figure out who my great grandfather's father is. It's very hard! I look forward to spending more time here.

I do not see a family tree uploaded from your account. The best way to get started is to add what you know - details about yourself (this will be private), then add your parents and your siblings. Then the siblings of your parents and their parents. The more sourced details you provide the more we will be able to help you find that great great grandfather.

I have not uploaded a GedCom, so I am not familiar with the entire process. But I know that the upload is followed by the GEDCOMpare process. GEDCOMpare lets you compare all the individuals in your GEDCOM to the profiles already on WikiTree. Your tree will not be here until you go through the compare process.

Please ask for help if you need it. There is always someone available in G2G.
