Hello,

Is there a member of Wikitree who lives in the South Kensington area of London (UK) or fairly nearby, or is a French national living in London ?.

I am in the process of helping the prize winner of my offer of assistance in London, (prize in the recent Source-a-Thon), and i am looking for someone to locate a possible source of Genealogy of French nationals who have lived in London.

I was very kindly sent some information from Elizabeth Burling the chairperson of the London Westminster & Middlesex Family History Society - which was featured on WikiTree just a few weeks ago. Elizabeth provided me with four possible sources of further information and i thought that that information deserved a wider audience - so i will publish them here, these are for research in London (UK), particularly for those with a French connection (ah) :-

these are the resources that she suggests :-

The Huguenot Society :-https://www.huguenotsociety.org.uk/family-history.html

The National Archives :-https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

London Metropolitan Archives :-https://search.lma.gov.uk/scripts/mwimain.dll?logon&application=UNION_VIEW&language=144&file=[WWW_LMA]home.html

Westminster Archives :-https://www.westminster.gov.uk/leisure-libraries-and-community/archives/search-archive-collections
