Ubachs family link to van Nassau family

Hey all,

It's been a while since I've posted anything here on G2G! I've been on the Discord server too muchlaugh

I'm just wanting to prove a couple of relationships back to nobility, back to the royal family van Nassau actually. So I have an ancestor linked here, relationship to me is certain, Johannes Ubaigs/Ubachs. His baptism record shows he is the son of Gordt Ubachs and Gertrudis van Passart, so that relationship is proven too. However it starts to get more complex a little further back.

So Gertrudis is apparently the daughter of Johan van Blitterswicjk/van Passart, and Anna van Nassau/van Merwe. Now Anna is the daughter of Hendrik van Nassau and Johanna de Glymes, and then another genelaogist has supplied the sources a few more generations back from there, back to Johann Nassau-63, b. 1410, and so on and so forth.

I would really appreciate any help that anyone would be able to lend? Cheers

I added some sources to her father. I think the best sources for Johan Passert are probably found in the magazine: Limburgse Genealogie, Jaargang 42, 2014 page 87.

I believe, johann van Nassau of 1410 is the great grandfather of Count Wilhelm l of Nassau from 1512.
