This website, often used by the Acadians Project, has been closed since 5 September 2023. This message appears on the site: “If you are the administrator of this page, you can still recover your files as well as transfer your visitors to your new site until January 09, 2024.”

There are presently 719 profiles with the domain name pagesperson-orange.fr

https://plus.wikitree.com/default.htm?report=srch1&Query=pagesperso-orange_fr&MaxProfiles=5000.

Most of them concern profiles managed by the Acadians Project, but not all. Fortunately, the links to the website have been archived by Wayback Machine and the main pages are accessible here:

The Acadians Project with the help of volunteers will replace these broken links, using as much as possible similar sources from live sites instead of archived links. Any suggestions for substitutes for these Acadian sources are welcome, especially for the following:

*Arrivals at St Malo from other ports in France

*3rd convoy from Châtellerault

Thanks

Thanks for posting this, Gisele.  I added England and pre-1500 to the tags as there are a number of profiles there who have this source as well.  We will allow those PM's to make changes to their own relevant sources as well.

oh dear, another one gone.  sad  Use the archived sources as much as possible, and alternate sources should preferably be institutional in nature, like official archives from original locations.  Otherwise there is risk of running into the same problem.

Not working for me, are you sure your browser isn't using a cache version of it?
yes, it's working, just tried it.  I strongly suggest that all its pages be saved to archives soonest, sites that start going offline for unknown reasons and reappear may be on their last legs.  Have seen it happen elsewhere, with concomittant loss of enormous amounts of shared research.
Thanks for checking Danielle. I didn’t know that they could reappear like that. I’m pretty sure that all of the links in the website have been archived by Wayback Machine, but will double check right now.

This is only temporary: the site is back since Sep 12, but only until Oct 4. After that it will be permanently closed. Source: this forum.

Merci Julien. All of the links have been saved by Wayback Machine.
