Hello Azure, Andrea and all!

I will be happy to participate in this OPS. Particularly intrigued by seeing the name "Paravicin de Paravicinis" among the pastors, since "Paravicini" is a name closely linked to the town of Caspano in the Valtellina, where my Malacrida ancestors lived before the 1620 massacre.

One minor note / possible correction for consideration by the team: Saying that there was no Catholic church at this location until 1950 seems very unusual for a place first mentioned in 1160. Unless there was actually no sort of religious activity for the first 370 years or so, this might be re-worded to recognize that there was a "time before the Reformation", even in this part of Switzerland. ; )

I have begun preparations and found three Paravicini profiles which could eventually be added. No matches yet found on WikiTree, FamilySearch or Historic Family Lexicon of Switzerland. I would be grateful if someone felt like checking the transliterations (in the footnotes) or had any other comments / criticism / advice they would like to share.

Hi GM,

Point well taken on religious worship having taken place pre-reformation.
Hi Andrea, thanks for making those changes on the profile so quickly! An "evangelisch-reformierte" church dating back to the 13th century might also cause some confusion. Is the building that old? Was it used for Catholic services before the Reformation? Perhaps something like "The oldest surviving church, dating back to the 13th century, has been used for evangelical-reformed services since the early days of the Reformation."

Hi Andrea,

what sort of help would be your priority on this project? There are apparently already almost 1000 profiles categorized with this location...
