Register now for the 2023 Source-a-Thon [closed]

Question

It's finally time for the big annual event, the Source-a-Thon. This is our eighth and we are still going strong. Last year we added sources to 64,000 previously-unsourced profiles! Can we beat that total this year? I know we can.

The event starts on Friday, September 29 at 8AM EDT (Noon UTC) and runs until Monday, October 2 at 8AM EDT (Noon UTC) [time zone calculator]. There will be door prizes donated from around the genealogy community, live video hangouts every four hours, around-the-clock chatting, and lots of fun.

Will you join us? To register, just click the ANSWER button (comments at the top will be hidden once read) and say "Sign me up!" and include your team choice or a few words about your location and/or genealogical interests so we can assign a team. Registration ends at midnight EDT on Wednesday, September 27.

Thanks so much Shonda Feather. I did hear back helpfully from Betsy Ko, and I appreciate your reply. In this community source-a-thon, I'm interested in who came before questions genealogically, and who came before Sarah Bolles Chadbourne (1656-1694 in what became Maine) back to Edward I Longshanks (1200s-1307 I think, in England) in and focused way, and esp regarding sources and evidence. Thanks for volunteering for Team Seamróga agus Fòghnain in our first Thon.  The Irish and Scottish teams have merged for this Thon.  If you requested to join Na Seanchaithe (Irish Team) or Twisted Thistles (Scottish Team) you have been included as a member of Team Seamróga agus Fòghnain as the individual Irish and Scottish Teams are not participating in this Thon.
