Does anyone have any information on a Jonathan ( John) Hammer [[Ridgeway-1212]] ? He is a dead end street for our family. We don’t know anything about his parents at all.
All we know is that he left his pregnant wife -Mary Ann POLLY [[Cole-6979]] /Ridgway/Weaver high and dry. After John left POLLY she had her child. Polly had a child named Euphamia or Euphania ( Effy) Ann [[Ridgeway-1132]] . Polly married 2nd to Johnnie W. [[Weaver-661]] . Polly’s daughter- Effy married a James Taft in Franklin County, Tennessee. While Taft was off to War, Effy had an affair with one Newton A. J. Pless Jr. which resulted in a NPE of my Great Grandfather-James Neal ( JN) [[Weaver-12551]] , who was born in Winchester, Franklin County, Tennessee in 1865. Effy married a 2nd time to Walton Jasper Rogers Jr. If anyone has information on John would really appreciate it.
