I'm unable to find my Grt Grt Grandfather John Thompson born 1842 ,Birmingham, Warwickshire England. Last seen in Western Workhouse Aston 1881 occupation a Gun stocker, widow. Age 41 but was born in 5 June 1842 Birmingham . Searched all deaths and cemetery. Aged 43 + - also deaths at sea or abroad. Cenuses also but unable bto verify. May have changed occupation or living with a partner and her family but not married. This is my brick wall for many many years.

 I have found a christening record and census record on 'family search' which I think are for your John Thompson.

The christening record was on 27 Jun 1842, parents John and Emma Thompson at St Phillip Birmingham.

The 1851 census record of Moland St Birmingham has John Thompson b.1843 Bormingham, father John Thompson b.1802 Birmingham (gun stocker), mother Emma b.1804 Birmingham, brother Alfred b. 1829 (gun stocker), sister Amelia b.1836 Birmingham, sister Betsy b.1845 Birmingham, brother Henry b.1847 Birmingham.

I have all the records and cenuses for John Thompson.Yes theb1851 census record is my relative.

It's after the Workhouse record 1881. I have no further records for him Dead or alive.
