A record for Alanson Aldrich

this is from the 19th-century Quaker Marriages

What do you guys think of this? if this is correct then Alanson might not be the son of Benajah. 

"Alanson ALDRICH of Macedon, son of Leonard and Polly.

Huldah MELRICH, daughter of "Sainl" and Sarah Melrich of Macedon.
Married, 28 of 3m, 1827 at Macedon."

Also, the George Aldrich Genealogy, 1605-1971 which everyone quotes or uses as a source, might not have all the correct information.  For example, he says Benajah is said to have a second marriage but no other source mentions that, and no record of Benajah having one.  So why would he put Alanson as a child of an unknown mother without proof? Knapp Cemetery is not a family cemetery according to an email I got from the from the Knapp society.

I think you’ve made an interesting discovery regarding Alanson Aldrich.

Thank you Cheryl, I assume since Huldah M Aldrich who married Alanson she died in Gratiot County widowed and her will mentions Leonard S. Aldrich. Alanson died first, they did not divorce so Alanson who died , records show 1869 Calhoun County is not him. Huldah M in the records like above was his cousin. He married his cousin o Savel's line. I wonder where Alanson who died in Livonia will is. Hope to find it soon.
