Question

Question for the seasoned WikiTree genealogists:

Are there any profiles with proper sourcing that you strive towards when building a profile for an ancestor? I am finding the source guides useful, but I'm trying to find the best stye to use. Maybe a profile spotlight for someone born in 1900s and one for 1800s?

You could check out these sample profiles for some ideas:

I also find that several projects have a free-space page dedicated to example source citations. 

For Ancestry and FamilySearch sources, it's easiest to just use the WikiTree Sourcer browser extension.

And Sourcer supports a lot of other source sites, and conducts searches from Wikitree and other supported sites, so it helps find records, and provides citations to post into Wikitree. Available Chromestore or equivalent.

Jillaine's is a good one = I'm with you on this Eric. We used to have FOUR different help pages related to sources and citations. I created Jillaine's Dream Source Help Page at that time which attempted to bring it all into ONE page. I was going to delete it after the four got merged down into two, but I still like it all on one page, and I still prefer my framing. ;-)
