Somebody has added back the father for this man, despite lack of proof, already PPP

François Bellanger married in New France in 1637.  The marriage record that has reached us is a reconstruction by the clergy of the time after the 1640 fire that destroyed all the Notre-Dame de Québec church records.  None of these reconstructions name parents or place of origin.

The ONLY record we have that names where he came from is his confirmation, which gives the diocese of Lisieux.  (image on profile)  That's a pretty wide area.

There is speculation galore as to who his parents were, but no clear proof.  Yet a profile which had been detached has been reattached as his father.  He is already under PPP.  With no discussion at all.

The member who made that change is one of the several profile managers on that profile. Profile managers of PPP profiles can edit relationship connections on those profiles.
I know Ellen, but there was no discussion or communication to anybody before he did that.
So the project should talk with this individual before bringing the matter to this public forum. Is the member aware of the reasons why this claimed father is not accepted by the project? The member has very little recent editing activity, so I wonder if the member is sufficiently engaged here to be effective as a profile manager.
all very good questions, but I am not going to simply remove somebody as profile manager without discussion, and this is the place we normally do those.  The reasons why the purported parents are not accepted are clearly outlined on the profile, in both languages.
