Brick Wall(ish) Thomas Jackson of about 1715 [closed]

Thomas Jackson (Jackson-34174) settled in Chalk, Kent UK and brought up a family there.  However there are no accessible sources for his birth/baptism.  Ancestry does list several trees citing a birth in Cheshire in 1715, but Chalk, Kent is a very long way for a son of Cheshire to go seeking a wife in the early 18th C.  I initially thought that he was baptised in Hartlip, Kent in 1717, but reference to https://www.freereg.org.uk/ suggests that Thomas died in infancy.

Can anyone find an accessible source for Thomas, or any subscriber to Ancestry check out the sources for the family trees, and reply with chapter and verse that satisfies out sourcing guidance?

There are two baptisms at St Helen, Cliffe at Hoo in Kent for a Thomas Jackson

20 April 1712 son of Thomas and Mary

06 March 1714/5 son of Tho. and Mary

the original parish registers are available to view at cityark.medway.gov.uk

- Cliffe is about 6 miles along the Thames estuary from Chalk.

Thanks.  That allowed me to search in https://www.freereg.org.uk/search_records/5818491be93790ec8b14a9cf/thomas-jackson-baptism-kent-cliffe-1715-03-06?locale=en  Leading to a record for 1715

Was the 1712 an infant mortality?

Thanks for your help.
