Oudega, Friesland covers 3 different places

Question

There are 3 villages called Oudega in Friesland. So when adding this place to a record, the municipality should be added for better distingation..

Oudega, Friesland is in my opinion insufficient.

The 3 municipalities to be added are Smallingerland or Wymbritseradeel or Hemelumer Oldeferd. The modern names of these municipalities are not really useful for further research.

Same with Nes. You don't need to accept the suggested names, you can always add the grietenij/gemeente in the appropriate place.

I told a former questionner about place names that municipalities were necessary to add with this particular example. Stubborn wikitree-ers chose not to add municipality. This is the consequence.

You're right Klaas. For instance for my familymember Berber Zwerver (Zwerver-172) I mentioned in her profile she was born in Oudega, Smallingerland, Friesland, Nederland. By the way, in Wytze Zwerver's profile you find in the sources that he was baptized and he died in Oudega, Smallingerland.

Je hebt gelijk Klaas, het is beter om de gemeente er ook bij ter vermelden, ik heb bij Wietze Melles Zwerver dit aangepast.

Mijn opmerking betrof niet speciaal Wietze Zwerver, hij was een toevalstreffer. Maar ik heb verschillende profiles gezien, wat voor mij de aanleiding was dit probleem te melden.

Een ander probleem is het feit, dat er een category Nes, Heerenveen bestaat, die ik steeds moet weghalen als ik profiles uit Nes, Westdongeradeel maak en via autobio app de category Nes, Heerenveen eraan toegevoegd wordt.
