Category: Neapolitan War vs. FSP Napoleonic Wars

repeating my questions from the FSP Napoleonic Wars:

1. "Invasion of Russia 1812" -> Wikipedia:de:Russlandfeldzug 1812 states it as beginning of the War of the Sixth Coalition, while Wikipedia:French invasion of Russia doesn't. Also the section "War of the Sixth Coalition 1812–1814" here implies, it's a part of it.

2. Shouldn't the Military and War project also manage the FSP  Napoleonic Wars?

3. Wikipedia:Category:Napoleonic_Wars is spelled Napoleonic, so I guess we should rename our category, which is currently spelled "Neapolitan War"?

Florian:  I think that the reference to "Neapolitan Wars" in your question was supposed to be "Napoleonic Wars." Please check it.
No - that, among others, was exactly my point!
I was confused by your reference to the Wikipedia category.
Good point. Better now?
Yes, that makes more sense.

Regarding point 3, the Neapolitan War was an actual war which occurred during the Hundred Days (Category:Hundred_Days), which was itself part of the Napoleonic Wars - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neapolitan_War. Looking at the change history for the category, it was created at the same time as other wars listed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars:_1800%E2%80%931899#1810.E2.80.931819, so I think it is intended to be for that specific war, not for the Napoleonic Wars in general. Whether the profiles currently in that category are in the right place is more questionable.

It looks like the FSP Napoleonic_Wars has been added to the categories for a number of the wars that formed part of the general Napoleonic Wars. On something like Category:Peninsular_War it probably doesn't cause any confusion, but the similarity in names may make it more confusing on Category:Neapolitan_War.

As I wrote in the other thread, there is currently nothing in the category Category:Neapolitan_War that is relevant to the Neapolitan war. So we have two options:

1. Rename that category into Category:Napoleonic_Wars, and if needed re-create a new category for the Neapolitan war.

2. Create a new category Category:Napoleonic_Wars, and move by hand everything that is currently in Category:Neapolitan_War, including the FSP.

It seems to me that solution 1 would be much faster, for the same result. The only advantage I see to solution 2 is that the change history would be more understandable.

Created Category:Napoleonic_Wars and moved everything. Marked the other one for deletion.
