Another Fun Friday Night Bingo this Friday!

Every other Friday (opposite from Friday Date Night), join us for a couple of Bingo games.

Each week we have a special guest from a project AND chances to win a prize (a WikiTree t-shirt or mug!).

Each Friday Night Bingo has two events, with two Bingo games per time slot:

  1. Noon EST / 5pm UTC
  2. 6pm EST / 11pm UTC

Join the fun!  This week, guests from the Ty Cobb Museum to help us showcase the Sports Notables sub-project and then Jonathan will demo WBE Accessibility Options for those that need a solution due to disability or aging.  If you have a special accessibility request, let us know during bingo. Join the fun and wear your favorite baseball team jersey.  Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends!  Batter up!

Ty Cobb's WikiTree Profile

A few fun facts about Ty Cobb:

  • His nickname, "The Georgia Peach," came from his birthplace of Narrows, Georgia.
  • Cobb was a very superstitious player. He would always wear the same pair of shoes and the same undershirt every game. He also had a lucky rabbit's foot that he carried with him.
  • He was ejected from a game for arguing with an umpire after he was called out on strikes.

This is just a tiny amount of facts.
Want to learn more about Ty and his amazing baseball career?   You gotta join us for Bingo on Friday, July 7th, 2023 at Noon when we will host the Curator from the Ty Cobb Museum (wait until you see what their background is as they will be "live" from the museum!).
