Is there a tutorial about how to put in Scandinavian names into the profiles.

I am working on my husband's maternal line and his great grandparents were from Sweden and Norway respectively.  The name of his gggf baptismal record says Ludvig Svendsen, his father's name was Sven Johannsen.  Ludvig and his children went by the surname of Bogen, which was the name of the tiny town they came from in Skiptvet, Østfold, Norway.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

There sure is!

Swedish names: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Swedish_names

Norwegian names: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Norway_Project_Naming_Conventions

When in doubt, try to find the first instance when a person is recorded with a last name (often this will be when they leave home) and make that their name at birth. And don't assume that children have the same last name as their parents or that women change their names when they marry. And ask again if you have questions; there are a bunch of users here in the Nordic project who are happy to help.

Hi Marcia, I read your question, and then looked through my latest matches on MyHeritage. There is a DNA-match for my sister and mother that is administered by you. Fun coincidence! I do not know what the connection is between our family members though.
