I am trying to trace my mother Frances Gauld Ferris

Hi, I have managed to trace my half sister and niece but would like to find out more information about my birth mother Frances Gauld or Gould Ferris.

What is the age of your mother, who did she marry, where did she live etc.

I believe that she was born 09/05/1916, married Wilfred Tinkler in 1950 in Chelmsford Essex and died in 1999. She had a previous daughter Sandra Ferris born 11.06.1945 in Hammersmith who was also adopted the same year.

There is a project on wikitree called "Adoption Angels" which you might be interested in. The homepage is here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Adoption_Angels

Of course there's no obligation to go through the project and you can ask questions here but there's no privacy.

I've seen the 1939 register entry with Frances's birth date but it's unclear to me whether Edward and (Eleanor) Margaret (nee Hiscock) were her parents. I can't find a birth record for her.
