Great War occupation forces

My husband's great uncle did not join the US Army in time to participate in WWI but was sent to France and then on to Germany as part of the occupation forces in 1919. He died there in some kind of accidental shooting (details not yet obtained). He was buried in Coblenz, Germany (as it is on the Removal Project Information card) and disinterred and sent back to Berry, Kentucky, USA for reburial the following year.

My questions: Is he still eligible for the WWI sticker? If not, is there a separate sticker for post war occupation forces?
