Can you help? Seeking death records for these people said to have died in the 1970s in Victoria

Hi Wikitreers,

A Wikitree+ search reveals there are currently only five profiles tagged 'Needs Death Notice' that are said to have died in 1970/1971 in Victoria, Australia.

Can you help add sources to any of these profiles, and help to reduce this number to zero?

The profiles are:

• Florence Alice E. Hoddinott (1886–1970?), who was born in Bairnsdale and is said to have died there, too.
• Cousin Gilbert Marchesi (1898?–1970?), about whom I can find no records.
• Leonard George Lawson (1899–1970?), who was born in Bullarto and is said to have had four children
• Stella (Tudor) Hammond (1909–1970?), who was born in Melbourne
• Alexander Reid McLachlan (1891–1971?), who was born in Dereel

I've now added a death reference for Florence Alice Evelyn Hoddinott, who died in 1970 as Flora Raven. I found one marriage record, but a second one is elusive or nonexistent.

The profile for Stella (Tudor) Hammond now has references showing she died on 8 October 2005.

Hi Jim, I found Flora's second marriage record - it was hiding with the last name 'Ball' transcribed at Vic BDM.

Good discovery, Clare. I couldn't find anything about Leonard Lawson except an unsourced mention in an Ancestry tree that he died in Victoria in 1970.
