Seeking Tuttle descendants for a DNA project.

Did your Tuttle ancestors live in either Burlington County, NJ in the late 18th century and/or the Philadelphia, PA region (including Camden, NJ) during the 19th century?

I have started a DNA project that currently includes 20 descendants of my brick wall ancestor, Sarah (Tuttle) Bender, 4 descendants of Adam Tuttle, and 3 descendants of Susan (Tuttle) Bussing.

Would especially like to hear from any descendants of Jacob Tuttle. Jacob is very likely the progenitor of a Tuttle family who came to Philadelphia, PA from Burlington County, NJ in the 1790s.

Most, if not all, of the Tuttle families who lived in Philadelphia in the early 1800s were related and involved in the ship building trade. Ship building families of Kensington, Philadelphia were a close-knit group who often intermarried. Other families connected with the Tuttles are Brusstar/Brustar, Pote, Baker, Knight, and Bussing.

Don't know. I believe my second great grandfather was born in New York state. Beyond that I have no information.
