Category needed for Schangnau, Bern and more

For the Canton of Bern there are missing Categories for several Communities. The special Swiss rule for people having a 'Heimatort' which is the community where the whole civil and before 1875 the church administration was handled for the families which have their origin in that place. No matter where born, married or died, the administration was in the 'Heimatort'. For Swiss families and special in genealogical research this place of origin called Heimatort is crucial and should be categorized in the first place. The Swiss devine themselves as beiing from their Heimatort and only in the second place their birth, or living place.

I would like to use at least the following (missing) categories Schangnau, Bern

Vechigen, Bern (my Heimatort),

Sigriswil, Bern (Heimatort of my mother-in-law).

If a professional could instruct me howto I would enjoy to add quite a few missing categories for the Canton of Bern.

Thanks you in advance

You usually don't need to create locations unless you have a profile to tag with the location category.

I see the red categories for all three, so I will finish setting up the location category. You can see what I did, for example, here:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Schangnau%2C_Bern
