How do you get on the Trusted List for a person when no one answers your email?

Question

I sent an email to get on the Trusted List on an ancestor and no one has replied.  I do not want to create another identity has this ancestor already has two.

If Rebecca Dotson Reed is the profile that you would like to join the Trusted List for - it seems you are already the Profile Manager so would not need to be on the Trusted List. You can already do whatever needs to be done for this profile. If this is not correct, please come back here and clarify what profile for which you are trying to join the Trusted List

The Trusted List I want to be on is Branson-153.

Valentine Branson is my 4th Great Grandfather and I cannot I add him to my tree because I am not on the Trusted List.

I have sent two requests to be added and detailed my relationship to him with a brief genealogy chart.

That profile is OPEN, so you don't need to be on the Trusted List to edit the profile.

If there are two profiles for the same person, use the "initiate a merge" hyperlink at the bottom left to propose a merge. The merge proposal will require approval (either by trusted list members from both profiles or default approval after 30 days) before it can be completed -- that's a standard procedure here.

And if you want to be on the Trusted List so you can be aware of activity on the profile, the best way to make a request is to use the hyperlink under the "Collaboration" heading on the profile. (That's better than email because it is easier for the other person to respond.) And if that doesn't work, see Help: Unresponsive Profile Managers.
