Mary McCoy was supposedly born in South Carolina (1770) and passed away in Warrick, Indiana (1814). The 1790 Census showed her residence in Abbeville? She married John Armstrong Baker. Their children were Edward Baker, John McCoy Baker III, Martha Baker Frame, Mary Baker, Esther Jane Baker Haines, and Rachel Thompson Baker Taylor. It's likely Mary has a connection to the name Thompson since Rachel's middle name is Thompson. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Since Mary McCoy Baker is buried at the Briscoe Cemetery in Warrick County, Indiana, I'm wondering if her mother's surname could be Briscoe. Has anyone seen a connection with McCoy and Briscoe?
