Elsbeth Margaret Hauser remains unsourced unlike her siblings [closed]

Elsbeth Margaret Hauser-2241 remains unsourced unlike her siblings who either have a baptism date or marriage date or both which I obtained with a familySearch of her father Hauser-2232. (also see list of siblings with sources on mother's profile Manstriff-1)

The problem is Elsbeth. Before the sources showed up for her siblings, she was an enigma. No results or results with variation of Elizabeth that weren't close with the other data.

Is there a possibility she's a daughter-in-law?

What do I do with her since she has no source?

Any guess at this will be greatly appreciated

Beth

Beth, you might edit your question and add the Germany tag. There are a couple of researchers--I'm thinking of Danny Knecht in particular-- who have access to German sources that might be able to help you. FamilySearch is not the end-all-be-all of places to research by any means.
Maybe it would be an idea to focus on finding the actual death record and make the profile about that particular person
If it makes you feel any better, there are also datasets, with a marriage after her death around: https://gedbas.genealogy.net/person/show/1274728529
thanks Jillaine

I added Germany to the tags. Also France. Will search in other places, not just family search!
marriage after death is a new one for me. fits right in the picture so far! thanks Flo
Thanks for the merge. Can you please write one or two sentences, about profiles floating around with her name and add those to the research notes?

I added {{Uncertain Existence}} and {{Unsourced|France|Germany}}

But looking at the data of her sibling Hauser-2240 , who has the same death date and place, I would assume this person was created as some copy and paste artifact. Maybe merging these two and adding a note about Elsbeth Margaret would be the best solution.

The death would still need to be sourced, of course.

Beth, this profile should never have been added since it is pre-1700 and the only source for it is an online tree.  The notes in the profile about your extensive research that did not turn up any sources suggests that if this person ever existed, these were not her parents.  That research should have been done before adding this profile.

At this point, I would add the Unsourced template at the very least.  I recommend that you add uncertain to the tags in this question, which will get the attention of members who are better able to help figure out how to handle the profile.  I also recommend that you review the pre-1700 certification process as a refresher on source requirements for pre-1700 profiles.

Hi Gaile,

I learned why you don't add unsourced profiles and had my pre-1700 cert revoked until I took it again and passed. So, I guess you can say I learned my lesson but thanks for pointing it out again.

I edited the profile to remove some gedcom junk and add a working link to the unsourced Ancestry Tree that the profile was based on.

Between what I see in Wikitree and what I saw on Ancestry, I think there may be multiple problems with the genealogy of this family. In particular, there are children born too close together. So "Elsbeth Margaret" (not a very Germanic name) is just one of the people who need more research. indecision
