Family Search Book Search help

I'm flummoxed by the Family Search book search. I do not use it with great frequency. I'm trying to see if they have The Quaker Yeoman Vol 24 No 1. I found Vol 14 No 2 here. When I type in The Quaker Yeoman as a basic search term or even a title, I do not get any issues of it to appear in the search results when I would anticipate them being at the head of the results. What parameters have to be used to get the search to work?

The book search function is among the worst I’ve ever used!

I did aa advanced search with the full title, scrolled through the results, and they only went up to volume 17.
Thank you. At least I know they have thru Vol 17. Contacted a Quaker bookseller to see if they might have it (I'm over 3 hours from a library that I believe has it).
Might I suggest an ordinary Google or Yahoo search? That is how I usually find books, whether on FamilySearch or other locations.
Thanks, Lucy. Those searches didn’t produce results as I had hoped. The publication seems to have been in the form of a newsletter on which I have been able to find only limited information (now seeking assistance of Quaker Historical Society Quarterly staff).

The FamilySearch Library (formerly Family History Library) does have the edition you seek but it's not available online unfortunately.  You can see the catalog entry for this publication here:  https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/22948.  If/when a book search isn't producing results, a tip is to Search/Catalog, then enter the book/periodical name in the Titles field.  v. 24, no. 1 is here:  https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/854270?availability=Family%20History%20Library.

You can try their Lookup Service at https://www.familysearch.org/en/library/record-lookup-service but I've found that they're now rejecting most requests for anything copyrighted.

Thank you, Kerry. I'm giving it a try since the basic request is whether or not some specific text is found in a particular article or not.
Kerry, FS lookup service did send a complete copy of the article. Took just over a week—much more rapid than their automated response indi.
Thanks for the feedback.  That's good to hear.

I'm going to sing the praises of the Quaker Archives of Hege Library at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. I was not sure they had this serial publication. Within an hour of my request, they sent me a scan of the article for research purposes.

That's great news.
