What is this location on a death record?

This is Ellen's death record (right-hand page, first column) in Canada, 1910, and her mother Jane Watson is given a birth place in England, but I can't read it. It looks to say something like Scabis/Seatis/Scalis/Deabis, but those aren't places according to Google. Does anyone know what this could be? Thank you!

It's presumaby Scarborough. Ellen's parents weren't yet married when she was born.

It looks like Scabis to me. I don't know where that would mean unless it is an abbreviation for Scarborough in North Yorkshire.

It reads Scarbro, short for Scarborough.
