Hezekiah Robertson was listed as being born to David Robertson, Jr and Jane Headen in Wilkes County, GA in 1797. The only records not burned was the tax record where David Robertson Jr owned land in Wilkes County, GA. David and Jane moved to Louisiana to an area intially known as St. Tamany Parish, which later became Washington Parish. They were founding members of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Hezekiah and documented siblings were also members of this church. There is a document indicating David Robertson Jr gave land to son David Headon Robertson with the boundaries noted with land adjoining boundary with Hezekiah Robertson. There al multiple references where everyone is together in the same place but census records were lost so only a tax list is available listing number of males and females - no names. Later in a census report Hezekiah appears as the next name after David's name. A distant family member had indicated she had a copy of David's will but I have been unable to find it. DAR did not make copies at the time she became a DAR member and would have returned it to her. Does any one have any document that indicates father/son relationship?
